Highway Prequalification

• Contractors must submit evidence of three years of experience and prime contractors must provide CPA prepared financial statements.
• The processing time on applications is approximately 60 days.

Contractors:

• Examination and experience requirements exist for all classifications of licenses.
• Trade and business law examinations require a passing score of 70%.
• The average processing time for applications is three months.

Revenue Commission:

• A bond equal to ten percent of the contract price is required by the State Department of Revenue of out-of-state contractors.
• The bond is automatically released two years after notification of completion of the project.
